About The Event
In 2023, the GECI Alumni Association UAE, in partnership with AKCAF, organized an Iftar kit distribution drive in desert labor camps. A total of 500 Iftar kits were distributed to workers, bringing them essential meals and the spirit of Ramadan. Alumni volunteers engaged with the workers, sharing smiles and stories, making the initiative a meaningful way to give back to the community. The event highlighted the power of collective effort and the strong sense of empathy within the GECI alumni family.
